Re: crawler forks??

One of my 440ICDs that came with a 831 loader has a pair of forks on it instead of a bucket.

Re: SAE bolt pattern on 4-239 engine?

One example of an engine designed for a SAE belhousing is the Cummins ISB series of diesel engines. They fit almost anywhere.

You can edit your profile to indicate the general area of the country you are located in. Might help generate interest in your loader.
Welcome here.

Re: Just a little taste

Well Abilene, Texas hit -4 F this morning and the weather guesser said that tied for seventh coldest on record as long as records have been kept. They claimed the rolling blackouts were working but my power was off for over 9 hours during the night.

Re: 440 track clutch help

An 831 is the model number of the loader used on a 440IC or 440ICD crawler. The crawler serial number plate is probably below your dash in your crawler. In front of your knees. They will have separate parts lists from Deere.

Re: Disasembly Weights and dimensions for Transport by Bushplane

I do not know where in Alaska you are but is there any way you could get it shipped by boat or barge and get it close enough to drive the rest of the way? Might be easier than dissassembling and reassembling one. Maybe the AirForce wanting to play with a helicopter lift?

Re: My covid news

Sounds like I would really have fun with a 35 year old motorcycle wreck injury that included 5 broken ribs (3 shifted and overlapped) I can turn or twist just wrong and they let me know at times yet. At 80 years of age I am trying not to get the WU FLU.

Re: 1951 MC crawler ignition question...

I would check the voltage on the other side of the coil. If you have the same 4.5 volts there the points are open and not closing. If no volts there the points are closed and not opening or you have a short somewhere. Condenser may be shorted???

Re: jd440ic distributor

With the quality of most modern condensers, do not throw away the removed condenser, you may want to try it again sooner than later,

I do not know how much bigger a 2010 is than a 1010 but here is a spec sheet for a 1010 loader. http://www.murphyused.com/images/specs/109.pdf
