Loosing coolant

Had 1976 350c dozers motor rebuilt inline. I don,t operate it my friends do who are loggers but don,t use it for logging they use around camp. We put about 20 total hrs on it and they say they have to keep adding coolant and oil. They can,t see anywhere it,s leaking. The one who rebuilt it said it,s...

Used track pads

Recently purchased new pads for 350c - nuts and bolts. When ever the weather warms up here in southern Vt. will be putting them on. Would like to know is there any value in old pads other than scrap metal. There is three quarter of an inch on grouser and the old nuts and bolts have only been on for ...

Weld on grousers

Thanks for all the imput. Trying to figure out best route to take. When all added up with full grouser bar and time welding and the end product I,ll be better off replacing pads. With all the new parts on this machine best to stay with new pads. Least won,t regret down the road. It won,t be till end...

Weld on grousers

I was thinking about getting new pads for my 1975 350c dozer. Had to change plans when I had to replace pellet stove. Now thinking of welding on grousers. Have found grouser bar locally with price. I,ve heard of people welding on grousers that are shorter than pad and they stagger them like two on o...
