Hi !
I'm no expert at all but the shaft ( on a 350 straight) is put into the final drive
then the final drive onto the steering clutch , then the whole assembly into
the steering & brake housing , then the spline should slip in .
hopefully this will help .

I bought myself a ondoscope camera for pics & video for $19.00 , you connect it to your laptop and it works fine , maybe not as quality than yours but I can do the same thing so far , the only caveat is that you have to have the laptop . Hi ! I'm back from finishing the dismantling of my steering clutch , there is no way that I can enter the tube further inside the throwout bearing, I'm waiting for the right steel disk to come in . I fixed a couple of other things on the dozer in the mean time , so next time I'm out to work with it ...

I'm having fun following this topic. The pictures are good. I especially like the 2 inch trailer ball on the drawbar.
