stuck in 3rd, sorry

420c: was showing Dad where the gears were with tractor stopped, engine off. When I fired her up (with clutch in), all sounded well until i took foot off clutch and leaped forward in 3rd. Quick check showed Im stuck in 3rd gear, shifter moves freely but wont engage any other gear. Am about to take s...

420: battery box bolts are broken off in the crawler and i cannot get them out - easy out, penetrating oil and heat have failed. was told i could just drill em out and re tap holes but am worried where the metal scraps will go below - do i have to worry about causing damage? have a battery box which...

thanks much, found near exact match at local ACE hardware. got bolt out nearly effortlessly using Alden Drill Out - highly recommend this as I've never been a fan of easy out. this thing has drill bit on one end and extractor on other. very easy to use. swear i dont work for the company.

is set screw a specific part or might i be able to find replacement at hardware store?

thanks Jim. I counted those things 3 times on each side and came with 31 every time. Sounds like if theres 31 then there'll be more wear quicker. Any thoughts why they might be 1 shy?
