Re: JD 2010C dozer hydraulic problem

Hey jtrichard and Jim B, I sure appreciate the information! I've switched the blade control hoses and have the same result. I'll have both cylinders rebuilt and go from there. If no help, then I know it's an issue with the control valve. It's been a head-scratcher for me, since I had good down press...

Re: JD 2010C dozer hydraulic problem

I'm having the same issue, however, no improvements with fluid and filter change. Down pressure is excellent, but blade will grunt, but not lift.

What would be the next steps to try to troubleshoot this problem? I really appreciate the input.

Re: I'm having the same problem. Fluid and filters clean. No lift, only down pressure. What can I try?

there are two filters on a 2010 dozer (with 6 way and no rear pump ) if you have HLR trans the filter that is plugged is on the right side below your right foot it has 3 bolts and a temp gauge in the cover look at side of the belly pan drain trans pull cover there is a spring behind the cover the m...

AC - That's awesome! I agree with others that you cant go wrong on the price. Especially, now that it runs. I wouldn't run it too much until the oil is drained to find out if you have diesel fuel or anti-freeze in there. If it is like mine, it was diesel. The only thing wrong with mine was that 'lip...

Dozer Blade Issue

I have a 806 or 807 series dozer blade on my JD2010. I have quite a bit of slop in the blade, which makes it frustrating when I am trying to do finish work. When I have the blade up on unlevel ground, the blade stays level. The pins at the end of the arms (U15157) and the blade pivot pin (AU11501) a...

Thanks to Tigerhaze

Thanks for the input Tigerhaze. I'll keep those things in mind early on while testing these 'new' rollers. This might be why mine did not come with rollers  . As far as age, may be '64 - just a guess. JTRichard said it was pre-42000. No ID tag on this crawler. I've gotten pretty good at putting...

Thanks to TRichard

My thanks to TRichard for his assistance in helping me locate the upper track rollers for my 2010.

I hooked up with Greg and he shipped them to me............received yesterday. Now for the fun part-installation. Shouldn't be too bad.

Anyways, thanks again TRichard.

2010 Track Rollers

I need some help in locating a couple of track roller assemblies (brackets and rollers). My 2010 didn't have them on it when I bought it. No wonder the track kept popping off. :o It's pretty rough on the sprockets and rails too. I would guess that it is a '63-'64 model diesel/crawler. I sure appreci...

I bought some 303 equivalent from Tractor Supply Co. for around 35.00 for a 5 gallon bucket. My hydraulics are working fine.

Thanks,

I'll get back to you on that filter. I replaced this filter (transmission) on my 2010 recently. I picked up a new one from my Deere dealer. I'll check my sales ticket for the part number this evening. The hydraulic filter is just forward of this filter. There is a 3-bolt plate that must be removed t...

I agree with you that experienced is needed. You have to want to learn to improve your skills.

Safety is another issue to take into consideration for those without experience.

I think the Dr. may be missing out on a lot of enjoyment by hiring all of his work done. He may want to start out with an operator to train him, and do the work himself, if he's not in a big hurry. Seems as though I make the biggest mistakes when I get in too big of a hurry. I had no dozer experienc...

Tigherhaze, I just made a guess about the adjuster fittings. Thanks for the threads. I picked up some corn head grease at JD dealer and a 5/8" button head nozzle at my local NAPA. The wife still has me working on the front porch in my off time. When I finish the honey-do's, maybe I can get back to t...

2010 Track Roller grease fittings

My track adjustment fittings have been changed to accomodate a regular grease gun, however, the track rollers still have the original fittings. Is there a grease gun nozzle I can purchase to be able to service these rollers, or can they be changed to a regular grease fitting? Sure would like some ad...
