pump
Ben there were 3 pumps used on the 831 loaders the Hydreco that you referred to and then 2 Cessna pumps the15535-1TA up to 1961 and the 20014-1FFA from 1961 on. They do not list what years the Hydreco pumps were used. I have the earlier Cessna pump on mine. Thank you for the surplus center info they...

Looking for hydraulic pump
I am looking for a hydraulic pump for an 831 loader on a 1960 440 IC. It is a Cessna pump. I have tried to find parts to rebuild mine and have been unable to locate all the gaskets. If anyone has any leads on a good used pump I would greatly appreciate the help!

831 Control
SB the hoses to the cylinders are all 1\2 inch but there is a 3/8 fitting to the bypass valve and the return line is 3/4. You can get a parts catalog online free from John Deere that has all the hose sizes and lengths http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.Hom...

Thanks for the kind words Ben. No I do not have the hoe but it did have one before I purchased the machine. The previous owner said that it was in such bad shape that he scrapped it. I could have cried, even if it was in bad shape I am sure that with a little ingenuity and sweat and maybe some of th...

Well I decided to weld the sleeve and it all worked out ok. I was able to leave some extra weld since the shifting fork did not make contact in the area of the weld. I feel pretty confident that it will hold up fine. Now if I just had the reverser reinstalled................................. I am st...
