Hello all, In anticipation for removal and replacement of my 52 year old 1969 JD350 injectors i have read most of the post. I was wondering if i were to loosen the hold down nuts on each injector about 1/8" and try starting the motor that they would start to move the injector just enough to break it...

I read somewhere that one fiber and one steel went first then the hub, so it is supposed to be one fiber only then hub and continue the stack. Steve

I have assembled the clutch pack and adjusted the fingers with the correct gauge. Looking at the attached picture there is only about 5/16" height to center of hub before throw out bearing would seam to make contact. Is this correct !
