FYI, you'll need to drain the fluid from the transmission before you can remove the plate or the sensor. That area is well below the fill level.

It will be low on the right side, possibly made into the filter cover if I remember correctly. There should be an hole to remove the filter thru the frame you should be able to see it thru it.

Here you can go to the local ag stores ( the ones that sell liquid type fertilizer ) and pick up huge poly cubes. Mine is 4 feet cubed inside a metal cage and I paid 20 dollars for it. It even had a shut off valve on the bottom, I just had to buy a couple of reducers to get down from the 2" to a gar...

You'll need jacks to lift it, they are quite heavy. Just an FYI, I found mine loose, I never even hung it and I still needed a bottle jack just to raise it into position. My 450c uses 5/8 x 1 1/2" bolts to attach it to the frame. If you have drove a large amount of dirt up between the pan and the fr...

There were a few years of early model 450c that were non turbo but still had the 4219 engine.

On my old 450C there is a small handle made into the fuel pump that you can use to help prime the machine. I don't have a clue if they carried that forward to a machine as new as yours.

There are quite a few threads on this, the general consensus is to remove the bushing and bolt the cross member solid. Some even go so far as to weld it down (although I did not do that). The 1" or so of travel you get from having the bushing doesn't seem helpful in the long run. Here is a link to a...

PSA

Just a friendly PSA reminder for people like me who get complacent.

I was working on my return to dig and dropped a nut under my machine. I crawled under their to get it and found my skid plate about to fall off. If you've not looked under your machine in awhile it might be a good idea!

You don't have to clutch for shifting from forward to reverse but I do, it seems much less jerky and I am not as ap to get whip lash.

I should maybe clarify, I dont send loader parts. My industry is not related in any way, just manufactured goods. I was merely wanting to point out that LTC freight is usually less than most people think.

You will want to price check a set of off brand tracks + freight against a set of original JD tracks. I send skids of product to Australia (Melbourne) for less than most people think. I think the last shipment was 3 skids for about 1300 dollars.

You need to look at your fuel cut off solenoid. It could be sticking, that's typically what we've seen with issues like this.

That's terrible and I certainly feel for you. I just replaced some hoses on the loader arm and now I have a leak in that area. It's nothing like pulling a motor/reverser but it's going to set me back 4 to 6 hours of hard work I'd guess. Just like you I cant even tell which fitting is leaking so I'll...

Let's see if I can get this to link. I circled the area with the leak. It kinda has a gasket looking deal behind the bolt head. The part number you gave me is actually on the tag AR51747, that said the picture I linked is from a website for a 2802 not a 2442. That said I found this thread that seems...

A little update, I was looking over the information on the motor. I know it's a the standard 4219 but I'm not sure how to cross over the pump information. I've tried searching on the forums and I see alot of articles talking about the a, b c models but not how you identify them. My tag says: JDB435A...
