I use a come a long hooked to a small chain thru the hole you check radiator fluid. If the loader is running, I pull the nose put it down and backup 10 feet and it's out of...

Re: Moved Into Our Tiny House

I've always been very fascinated saw mills, when I was very young my uncle had one. I keep an eye on Craiglist and one of these days I'm going to find a good deal on one. I don't really want it to cut wood productively like for money but just the fun of restoring and operating it so I'm holding out ...

Re: Moved Into Our Tiny House

That sounds like a great project to me, I really enjoy working with the old houses. I got into a project last summer helping a guy remove the last remaining knob and tube he had in his basement.......

Re: Can't get transmission oil pickup screen out.

I wish I had better advice, I had hoped someone with a 555 would of weighed in by now but as you can tell there are not alot of them on the boards. Looking at the pictures and the exploded view, I agree that it's just stuck on the pick up tube coming from the front. My guess is that is the main suct...

Re: How crazy an idea is...

Ya, I can see the angle guides on the outside. I've done the rail road ties too but I'm looking at replacing my bottom rollers and I've already snapped 2 bolts off ( gotten 6 loose) and I've got a long ways to go. I know I'll be spending a lot of time down there welding, heating, drilling, fishing ou...

How crazy an idea is...

I'm thinking about pouring concrete ramps the width and spacing of my old 450c loader that will allow me to drive up on them and have the belly pan at level above my head. I would put footers and lots of steel in it. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being genius and 10 being beyond crazy what do you thi...

Re: 450C won't shut off

My guess is you have something in your solenoid valve not quite letting it close all the way. It's closing it enough it can't throttle up but not enough to kill it. Hopefully it's not a piece of the governor ring.
