Re: JD350B Brakes
Is there any chance this is just a really weak motor? Doesn't have the power to turn both sides? I guess i'm trying to think outside the box here.

Re: 450b capacty data and spec sheet
I think the 450b will be more like the 450c than the 450's. Are you looking for something specific ?

Re: 450c needs a squirt of ether to start then runs and starts fine
Mine is the exact same way even after having the injection pump rebuilt. Been that way the entire time I've owned it. I know I need to rebuild the motor as it has low oil pressure (but enough) I assume it's a lack of compression causing the issue but I certainly do not know for sure. The people on t...

Re: Need help hydraulic oil
As stated that will probably work in the hydraulic system but you should not run that in the HLR. You will have to keep 2 oils around, which no one likes to do that is why most of us run a hydraulic/transmission oil in everything. I purchase mine in bulk 55 gallon barrels from Petrochoice and save a...

Re: John Deere 450b
If it's like my 450c the oil pressure sending unit is right rear of engine. It should have a filter in the tank yes, you'll have to open the top of the tank to service it. Mine had fallen off and was in the bottom of the tank.

Re: 350c thrown track
Probably so, if it's an original style adjuster, remember you do not need to take the bolt all the way out just loosen it till grease starts to flow out the hole. Then you are less likely to loose the BB.

Re: 350B injection pump rebuilder
I highly recommend "thepumpguysc" from the heavy equipment forums. You can send him a message with what your have and he's very responsive, I had my pump back in less than 10 days total.

350b dozer not mine but interesting
It's wide track with full rops and looks like a 6 way blade all in one package:

Re: Front Idler
Well I got the new idler, it's not made the same as the old one it's basically flat inside more like a wheel than the original. The front idler shields will not fit correctly. There are two options, I can install without or I can try and flatten them out and reshape then. I'm wonder because the idle...

Re: JD 350 C dozer track extender stuck
You can't really weld it shut, you'd never be able to collapse the adjuster when you need to work on the track or put a thrown track back on. There has to be something wrong or stuck in the hole. I'd clean it out really well carb cleaner/compressed air and find out what's preventing it from sealing ...

Re: can swap ar49900 for ar51748
You could have your correct OEM pump rebuilt for less, that is what I would do. Those pumps are fairly specific and I think swapping part numbers would be a bad idea unless JD tells you it's an obsolete part number that has been replaced with the other number.

Re: Front Idler
For those reading along a standard 450c master pin will not work with the berco tracks, it's too small. I think it's 1.250 and I need 1.375 =(
