You can't disconnect the reverser, it is there and functioning unless you completely remove the unit and convert the crawler to straight gear drive. Hello, I have a JD 350C with newly rebuilt engine. Due to a long story that involved a blown reverser radiator circuit, we had to install a dedicated external reverser cooler...The unit probably ran for 100 or so hours with crappy radiator fluid mixed with transmission fluid. Just to follow-up on this thread. It turned out that I had no compression in one of the three cylinders...Rings broken in one, partially stuck in another...Complete engine rebuild followed!
