Didn't even know that was possible, but I'd say a seal in your pump is bad since it bolts to the engine with 3 allen head screws?? and probably is lubed by engine oil....

Glad it's coming together.

Is the casting broke? Looks like bearing went out and wiped out internals to final drive. I've got parts for a 1010 located in Danville pa if you need any.
Cleanup the final and see if you can find the issue. Then send more pics.

Did you get the bolt at bottom dead center on the underside?
I pulled mine last year and had the same problem. Had a nice gap and wouldn't come off.
Then looked and saw a stupid bolt right smack dab in the center at the bottom that is nearly impossible to get with a full dum full of cable.

1010s with just up and down blade option not PAT have a second remote for hydraulics - you can plumb in another hydraulic line set for a ripper if you want.

The following week you hear a scream from the kitchen as your wife opens up the bank statement and notices all the charges you've made to a Lavoy Wilcox. You then calm her down and state how this is an investment, and worth every penny. You can always sleep with them out in the garage - after a coup...

only buy something if you are sure it will fit. 650 for a final drive casting is a little pricey. You could buy a parts machine for 1200 or 1500. I'd keep looking.

I'd check to see if the bearings in the final are good. I usually see if there is an excessive play in the shaft etc. Change out the gear oil in the finals since you have it half apart. I usually power wash everything before I work on it as well. That will help you see any loose bolts, or see if any...

Fixed the brake issue today. Pivot point was jammed somehow. The piece with two holes that connects the brake band to the actuator piece.
All is good now, and steers perfect both sides.

The right side clutch I messed up and fixed. I followed the steps you posted and the clutch releases properly, brake engages properly and steers to the right properly. The left side brake isn't working quite so well. The piece the screw pushes down to engage the brake is down about half and inch too...

Have to do the same thing on the main clutch as you did on steering. You use the same gauge just the part that sticks out the farthest for finger measurement.
Sorry for the bad news, but engine needs to come out to be fixed properly.
