Well, I can't find anything wrong. I am going to replace both gasket and the seals, and O ring on the Elbow fitting. Brake cylinder looks good, Steering spools look good. Don't know what else to look for. I will order the seals and gaskets tomorrow. Anyone have any suggestions????

Well, we took the cover off the transverser and looking in found nothing wrong. After replacing the 60 dollar gasket. Dad looked at the Parking brake, the spring had came off. Put it on and lo and behold the dozer is now moving :D Which now we have the Orginial problem, and Digit has us looking into...

May have found and fixed the problem, I will know after I buy the 60.00 Transverser gasket and put some fluid back in it. Looks like the Parking Brake lever had a spring come loose. Put it back to where it was susposed to go and now awaiting UPS to Deliver. Dang why didn't I check that first :o(

Ken you would be surprised what a couple of Rednecks can do with a hammer....LOL......We drove a regular pin out of the 550 before we found the Z link. Z link is probably not the technical anme for the link, the link looks like 2 Z's laying on thier sides and they are bolted together, if I remember ...

taking them off and giving them a half turn is not very good, would only save you a couple hundred dollars and your pins and bushings would wear pretty quick. Best money spent would be to have them replaced. The track should have a Z link in it to take the track apart. if not, get a sledge Hammer an...

Its not in the bush really, we were building a pond. It's in a clearing just need to pull it out of the water, about 30 yards. Between the 350 pushing and the backhoe pulling with the back bucket, we might be able to move it. Just need to get it out of the water/mud..... mud is only about 4 inches d...

But neither side will move, its like the dozer is stuck in neutral. We are going to check them out as soon as this rain quits. We might have to get the 350 out and pull it up to higher ground. LOL Thanks this forum has been a great help so far.

Would the broken left hand steering valve keep it from moving forward or backward. The Dozer will start up and raise the blade up down side to sie, but the tracks wont budge either way. I will let him know tonight. Thanks for you help.
