First crawler: Need advice

May be about to get my first crawler. I know absoutely nothing about them. Have plenty of expierence with the Dubuque wheel tractors. What do I need to look for? Its a 420 with the blade mounted outside the tracks. Manual angle by pulling out a pin and sliding it back to another hole. Man says its i...

Yeah, I did not mean putting them up for sale. But I don't see anything wrong
with sharing them with friends.
That would be some great info that some of us may never see.
Hope you can come up with a way.
I am not much help, since I am not a computer guy, just barely get

I saw a post somewhere that said all the old manuals, ect. were Public Domain now and any reprints were legal.
I don't think Mother Deere even cares about the old 2 cyls anymore.
Thier big money now is in those million dollar machines.

Dubuque Crawlers

One thing I have often wondered about, is on those Dubuque Crawlers, can the blade be angled side to side or up and down on each side?

crawlers

Thanks guys. I am serious about getting a crawler, but would need advice when I get ready. I don't really know much about them and the values. It seems according to condition, they are about the same price as the tractors.

Yep, its me. Just been out of the hobby about 5 years due to unseen circumstances. Yes, I have always wanted a crawler, but just thought they would be too hard to work on. I have recently bought a 40w and a 420w. I have started the restoration on the 40w and using the 420 around the old home place. ...
