Re: 350 starter issue

After a search on this site, I think I found the solution. It appears some else had the same issue & posted the fix. Thanks to all for looking

350 starter issue

I bought a 350B loader several years ago. It always acted like it had a weak starter. It barely got the machine running. I was able to get it started to do the project at hand. I decided to sell it and a friend advised to fix the starter issue for an easier sell. I got a new starter through Advance ...

Broken hyd hose

I had the misfortune of a ruptured hyd hose on my 350 loader. This hose is for the bucket "roll" & it is located is the most unacessable location on the machine. It is buried deep in the left side of the cockpit area, right below the pivot point for the rear boom arm. I can barely see the fitting. I...

Re: John Deere 350b backhoe hookup questions

I would be very cautious with all the extra weight of the hoe on the back of your 350. I had a 9300 hoe on my 450 & it was still tail heavy.

450 EXHAUST MANIFOLD

I been looking for an exhaust manifold for my straight 450 loader, without too much luck. Are there other JD models that I can fit? I find it hard to believe, JD made a manifold to fit only one machine.

93 Backhoe vs 9300 Backhoe

Can anyone advise the difference between a model 93 backhoe & a 9300 backhoe? I know the 93s were made in the sixties & the 9300 in the eighties.

JD 450 loader hydraulic filter

Anyone know a part number for the suction side filter located in the hydraulic tank? I need to change mine, as it appears to be the original. There are no numbers shown, only "COLLIERVILLE TENN. STRAINER COMPANY" It measure 3.5" diameter & 5 "long. Also, where to purchase the filter. Butch from Pgh

My hoe is a 92, as the 93 is a slider type. Is there any additional plumbing/hose associated with the relief valve? I assume there should be something to send the fluid back tot he tank.

I'm still trying to find a pressure relief valve on my 450. The hoe works even worse now. I cannot find anything that even looks like a relief valve. Can the relief pop-off valve on the tank affect the hoe. I don't know where to even look anymore! My 350 manual mentions a flow divider with a hoe on ...

I just pulled the canister type filter from my straight 450. Where is best place to get a replacement? There is no number on the old filter, so I don't even know what to ask for??

What I can't understand is, why doesn't the engine bog down, when the hoe stalls? Even with low oil flow, the pump should still force oil to the cylinders. It might take longer than normal, but it should still reach max working pressure. This is what makes me believe there is a pressure by-pass some...

I am having the same problem with the same machine. But, the low power in the hoe just started recently. The front loader works quite well. The hoe stalls out trying to dig fairly soft dirt. I was told there is an internal pressure relief valve that could be the culprit, but where is it located? I k...

Model 92 backhoe

I have a 92 backhoe mounted on a JD450 & I decided to sell them together. I got an offer for just the backhoe. While doing a demo dig, it seems like the hoe lost a lot of digging/pulling power. The engine did not bog down at all. The hoe just sorta stalled. even in soft ground. The potential buyer s...
