Ed Christopher at Crawler Heaven is whom I was referring to. I must be a little Bulldozer crazy with that last post and all the poor spelling. I will try to post more pictures as we go now that I have it figured out how to capture a link. Has anyone ever painted one of these things? I was going to u...

I will get the info off the winch tomorrow and sen you the info. I will also ask Ed at Crawler Heaven if he has one on Friday (Fridays are bulldozer day till she's together). We drove the five hours out last Friday to get Ed's attention but you can't fit much for part in the trunk of a 300d Mercedes...

ScottyB, Thanks for the help with the injector removal, we will give it a shot. They could be really bad. I will post some pics soon. I'm not much of a photographer and most of the pics I have taken were too close. As far as the who is luckier, me or the bulldozer, I think the bulldozer now hopefull...

Two cents from a newbie
When we were out in the woods for those four days trying to get our machine running I could not for the life of me get it bled. I finally got the injection pump rebuilt. Even after the injection pump, a new fuel pump, new fuel and filter, she was really tough to get bled. The only way I could get fu...

White Exaust Smoke
My 350 engine is a diesel. Its a 1961 and it really smokes white. It doesn't appear to have oil in the coolant or vice versa. The injection pump is new and timed correctly. If the return line to the tank were plugged, would this cause a lot of white exaust? I was thinking of replacing the return lin...

Doing two next week when we get the parts
If you live close to Ware Massachusetts, come on down. I would be happy to help you with it. We are going to be doing both ours next week. I will just be using my shop manual and what I have learned the week before from the posts on this site. I did just order the clutch guage from Lavoy and with th...

More problems today.
I am hard into the drives today. Things are worst than I thought but if I get the drives rebuilt I should be able to get it back together. They are toast from bearings to seals to clutch disks to throw out bearings. A few more questions... Is this the best place for parts? I got the clutches on EBay...

Coolant in oil. White smoke
Sounds like you may have a bad head gasket. Not a bad job, you can do it in the tractor from what I have read. Make sure you align the timing marks on the injection pump window and bring the engine to TDC before you remove the injection pump. I would strongly recommend the shop manual. It has helped...

JD350 Found in forest.....free....at first.
Guys I need a lot of advice. I'm not sleeping anymore and my wifebis sure I have a mistress. I'm a total newbie. You see, I found a JD350 in the woods the other day. I own a lot of forest in central Mass and it was on an adjacent property, stuck in the mud, half tipped over, so deep in the forest, y...
