WoooHooo! Put the battery from my truck into the 450 and it popped right off at the touch of a key. No smoke at start-up and it runs smooooth. Called the Martin parts dealer today and they said that they do NOT give discounts to John Deere employees. The girl I talked to was rather snotty and then refused to give me her name.
