any local hydraulic shop should be able to get you packing and seals likely cheaper than oem however quality could be different from oem depending on the shops source I always took the whole cylinder in to order that way your sure to get the right stuff if its not possible to take into the shop just...

I have one of lavoys clutch finger adjustment tools for early crawlers mc/440 i was wondering if there is a different one for the 2010 or if same tool can be used?
based on reading i need JD 227 tool i have a 10 inch clutch its a diesel row crop tractor

What causes a John Deere 440 to break a shaft in the steering clutch the shaft in question is John Deere Shaft M1635T also the clutch pack had 7 fibers my serial number is 440ic 445083

ok so i fired it up an pushed lever in just before it locked and slowly it lifted the tractor up very slowly but fluid was nasty looking and thin so I changed it to some new stuff after changing the fluid it worked a little better but after cycling blade up and dropping it and then going for down fo...
