I have a 450B dozer that I have just replaced both steering clutch assemblies, the power steering is just erractic, making it very hard to get a true adjustment of the steering. My question is if I replace the power steering cylinders with 450 rods, AT18425, shouldn't this work better? Would it hur...

450b dozer steering clutches

I'm installing new steering clutches in my 450b. I had to buy 2 new drums and new metal and metallic discs. When I installed the new discs they stick up above the drum but level with the hub. Is this normal? The count is right, 9 metallic and 8 steel. I checked the thickness, the steel are 10mm and ...

This remaining bolt? Is there enough of it showing so you could weld a nut on it? If not can you get to it and drill it and then try an easy out? You really need all of the bolts to make your machine as strong as it should be. It would mean a lot of work but it would be worth it in the long run. It...

I'm replacing the steering clutches on my dozer but I noticed the 2 top bolts that attach the transmission to the clutch housing are broke, the 2 bottom bolts are alright, I can get the left bolt out but no luck with the other one on the right side. My question is will it be ok with 3 bolts holding ...
