Lavoy, when you were plowing with the 2 bottom was it a 2-14 and did you crush the furrow. Also was the 3 bottom a 3-12? I gont think an MC would pull a 3-14 would it? I have my hitch slid all the way over, it is over to the point where it throws the draft of the plow off. I plow with a jd 2-14 plow and that is all that it wants. some people think that I should try a jd 3-12 plow but I am not sure that I could handle it with my mc. I still am not sure if a mc2 plo...

stan do you know what models of john deere plows were made for the crawler then besides the the ones that fit on the tool carrier? I am thinking more of a pull type plow. I cant think of a john deere model that is offset

so are the chains junk if they are that bad? the chain links on my 40c are tapered like that almost up into the pin. I dont understand what causes this? all of the rollers turn and look good. what goes bad on the rollers that cause this problem??

sorry lavory i cant describe what i am seeing very well i will try to post a picture. what do you need to look for other than the obvious bearings and chuncks on rollers. ao what about the rail what do you look for??? I also bid up an mc with tool carrier that the motor was locked up to 4300 dollars...

what i mean is that the bottom of the link is worn not from the bushing but the bottom is worn. i have seen several this way. the wear is so bad at times that the side of the link is worn into the bushing and pin

so is it ok that that some of the mc's that i have seen have the heavier chains on them which are the same ones that i see on my 420 and 40? is it also ok to put the heavier pads on the mc and 40. the ones on my mc are worn and you can tell have cracked and have been welded. will it hurt anything to...
