I have a John Deere 1010 crawler the push arm for the blade is mounted on the outside of the tracks, I believe this is known as a forrestry model. There is no id plate on the side of the engine, are there any other ways to determine year and ser.#? It does have a reverser and the gearshift is locate...

Any one out ther have copy of Mother Deere's SM2048? I would take a photcopy copy or ? I was getting what I thought was the correct one from the John Deere site, but ended up buying a downloded copy of SM2045 :( I have a JD 1010 Diesel Crawler I think around 1962,so the Sm2045 will probably not work...
