350b reverser

Hi all, I have a 1974 350b with reverser problems. I have the reverser out of the machine. My question is where’s the best place to get it repaired? John Deere yellow dealership? I know that will be expensive. I have a service manual but don’t feel confident enough to rebuild it. I have a good hydra...

Re: Steering cylinder removal JD 350

Yeah I didn’t remove tanks or rops. That 3/4” bolt I believe I used some swivel joists and long extension from the side. I think you just need to loosen that bolt then the ear will pop out of the cylinder. And the pins that go through the front and rear yoke.

Re: Steering cylinder removal JD 350

I had my steering cylinders out last year to rebuild on my 350b dozer. Not sure if it’s exactly the same as the loader but there’s an access plate on battery box/ seat wall. I took that off and was able to get better access. If you look between top of tracks and bottom of battery box/ hydraulic tank...

350b power steering

Hello all-
I have a 1972 350b with leaking power steering cylinders. I was wondering how easy they were to rebuild. I have a parts manual. Are parts available or should I try a hydraulic shop? Thanks in advance

Right clutch fork shaft

Looking for a right clutch fork shaft for a 350b. P/n T 21316. Talked to Lavoy and he didn't have any in stock. If anyone has info that would be great.

Thanks for the replies. So I have another question. Lots of rust on the inner clutch drum gear. Was thinking about sandblasting. Is there any thing I can coat the metal with to prevent rusting? I know hydrocarbons will contaminate the fibers didn't know if there's something I can put on? http://i126...

So the carrier bearing part # 2 is seized on the sleeve part #3. Got both pieces out but didn't know if I could slide the new sleeve back in or I have to replace the bearings and seals on the inside of the steering clutch housing?

350 carrier bearing

Working on replacing 350b final drive clutches. Took the final off and found final full of mud. Took the throw out bearing off and noticed the carrier bearing frozen on the sleeve. Sleeve is pitted. Plan on replacing the sleeve and carrier bearing. Question is do I slide the new sleeve in or do I ne...
