I have full power to the left side, but right side will screech/slip sometimes when first engaged, let off and reengage and it pulls. Checked TO during adjustment and made sure clearance pin was under lever stop when adjusting it. It doesn't touch fingers, something is wrong with or under the pressu...

Had to be that it needs pulling, can't have an engineer design it to work on easy. It is definitely slipping at the s clutch location, looks like a rainy, snowy, crummy weather project to do in the winter. I'll have to read up in the manual,i'm sure doing it the first time will take a few hours. What...

350 steering clutch issue

Have a right side clutch that has recently been replaced prior to getting 350 that is intermittently squealing/slipping, mostly when first engaging. Have adjusted the clutches/brake several times and verified that the throwout is not riding the fingers. It also stops forward motion and stops on a hi...

Fittings cost more than it did, hopefully this location will work well to circulated heat. I do know at 1500w, it gets HOT quick.

OK, so Basically I'll need fittings for the drain hole and temp hole to match up to the heater. I'm betting its 5/8 size, but I'll wait till it arrives then get the fittings and extra hose to install. Having the heater output enter at the lowest block level, and the heater return higher should help ci...

I didn't see any plug hole on the blocks left side, just the 1/2 one on the water pump and the drain plug hole. I have located a 1500 watt ext 135-175deg aluminum tank for ~$36 from kats that looks like it would work. But need a place to route it to the block. Would you have any pics of where yours g...

best engine heater install for 350

What would be the best type of heater to put on 152 engine? I see a 1/2 pipe plug on the left water pump housing and a bypass hose under the thermostat housing, going to the right side of water pump housing to possibly plumb into with a tee fitting. There doesn't appear to be enough room to put a lo...

Trying to get to the power steering pump, which has a small leak somewhere, maybe pump packing or power pistons.
Also looking at changing fan belt.

Thanks, I have the owners manual and service manual, neither one shows it with the hood tilted. I read in one spot where it says to undo some side bolts, hood, grill, headlights and move it forward to service rad, belt etc, with not one diagram showing it that way. I'll take another look and undo some bol...

Does the front nose on the 350 swivel forward on a hinge,or do you have to unbolt and remove it?

Stopped by the deere dealer for some #0 grease and asked them about using 15-40 in steering reservoir.
They said they saw no problem with doing it, as it won't be run much under 35-40 degree temps. Ideally repairing seal to fix it is better.

oil for power steering 350

I know the book calls for 303 hyd in steering reservoir, but it had a leak somewhere and was empty when bought. Looked and can't find a visible leak but res. was half empty after a ~week of use. If its leaking at the pump packing into engine, and engine oil is added with oil consumption of engine,will...

That could be,as the left side needs brake band. Was using it today and thought I heard it a couple times, more on that side.
Damn honeysuckle will kill ya,shoved in a couple sink holes for deer season and it broke some quick links I used for mesh hanging off the rear.

possible source of noise?

Have been clearing honeysuckle/4in trees w 350 and getting use to it. But sometimes it gives a loud intermittent squeal out when pushing a load/tree over,I back off and go again and it shoves with no noise. I know the left rear needs clutches/brake band, but what other areas would have a coupling tha...
