Thats awesome!! Hows the traction in the snow?? Myself and all my neighbors have concrete or paved driveways so the Kubota gets the snow removal duty, but I'd love to push snow with my dozer!!!

Our original dozer was a 40C and as a young teenager learning how to weld, I "built up" the grousers with rebar. We ran that dozer around the farm for about 10 yrs after that and the tracks still looked good when we sold it. Probably not the right way, but a way.

Sounds like you are on the right track getting the starter redone. Make sure your cables are the correct gauge. oh yea you for sure have to pull the motor. and its not quite as bad as you think, i can pull the motor off mine in about 30 min, only split mine about 12 times getting my clutch correct. on the fan pulley there will be a jam nut on a set screw. loosen the jam nut and you will need an allen wrench for the set screw. if you look at the pulley you will see lugs on there, take a brass rod or punch and hit the lugs it will rotate the front part of the pulley and make the belt tighter.

not sure where i got the friction discs. i ordered alot of parts over this rebuild, some from JD, lavoy and some other parts outlets that offer parts for these crawlers.

the video was shot during our first test run, we still had a down pressure issue that we got fixed by adjusting the linkage on the control valve. works as it should now. :D

corner doesnt look like its framed out correctly, definitely not the way i do it, but hey i was only a carpenter for 5 yrs. also the top plate is what ties your corners and sections of wall together and that gives you the stagger that you need. Ha Ha stuff like this cracks me up.

dump out what you can and then take about a 2' piece of small link chain. like a swing chain or chain you would hang a flower basket with. drop it in the tank with a little bit of gas and shake the heck out of it. just keep repeating the process until its clean. or you could just take your tank for ...

with blaster only coming out one plug hole i agree with one of the previous comments you are close to top dead center and the crank hasnt been turned enough to cycle the 2nd piston. if it was me i'd pull the motor take off the head and remove the crank and knock the pistons out or if the one is stil...
