My uncle used 3/8 square cold rolled square stock on his worn grousers and staggered them two on one pad to the outside edges and one on the next pad in the center of the grouser kinda made an ice biting track

Theres a newer posting on E-Bat,420 crawler,model 61 blade,with a non-operating winch in Mt.Ariel,Pa.seller wants $3000. looks pretty rough.I Think it's the same outfit that was selling theloader trackhoe last month

good price for a rops cage
my dad has a rops cage with limb riser's that he removed from his 420,he was going to torch it for scrap,I told him no .It bolts to rear of crawler and in front of fenders,with limb riser's bolting onto top of grille guard. Any idea of what the value might be?thanks

slow blade movement
On my dad's 420 he has a model 61 blade(single lift cylinder)with one control valve.His blade was also slow up+down with barely any down pressure.On the the left side of control valve body there is a valving plug, needs an Allen key to turn.By tighting it(turning Clockwise)about 1/4 turn it allows m...

jake brake,abs problem
you can also check under dash for a contact switch on clutch pedal;i have driven pete's and kw's that had this switch go bad and disable the jake brake.computer thinks clutch is disengaged and won't close circuit.also try wiggling all abs leads at each wheel,as they get dirty and send a fault code
