while taking the top cover off the left steering clutch for repair and finding out it was just the adjusting bolt stripping ( didn't need to take top cover off) we found the linkage return spring missing and when checking the other side it was also missing would this have been done intentionally or ...

we replaced the clutch and brake bands but when we use the dozer now after about 2hrs of use the left side steering squeals if you let it cool down and readjust it its fine until it runs and gets warms again are new clutches this hard to keep in adjustment and if not whats wrong? should have said it...
