Any idea why it made it tougher to start? We put new plugs and sharpened the points and it purrs like a kitten again

Thanks for the tips, we could find a vacuum leak, but we pulled the plugs and they are pretty much shot, also goin to file the points a little to see if that helps... How do you guys feel about putting an electronic ignition on it? Pros/cons?

420 sputtering and backfireing

before we brought our new crawler home it purred like a kitten, now.. not so much it just sputters and spits and backfires... the only thing that changed was it was in the high desert and we hauled it 300 miles to the valley floor. now like i said it backfires like crazy and only runs with the choke...

Where our orchards are/will be there's a cross road that runs right through the middle of them. So we will need to be running back and forth across the roads quiet a bit. Not really worried about goin fast. You know what "they" say... Slow and steady wins the race! I found another thread on here of ...

Ah, thank for the weight. We mainly want to do it is for transporting it, a few roads we have to cross and run down so with rubbers thought its be easier. Plus we like to do things different than everyone else :)

Just picked up this little 420c fella from the original owners of it, it's always been stored inside! they painted it a few years back it would appear, everything seems to work exept I can only turn right :roll: pulled the track off today to take the back end apart to see what the deal is.. it's all...
