Thanks for the helpful info All. They are Berco ID 92 sprockets. And I made sure they were off of an early 1010 before I purchased but there is still quite a bit of interference with the lower roller. There is a significant difference in the width of the sprocket compared to the stock. My machine ha...

Early 1010 12" to 14" track pad swap???

Is there an adjustment that needs to be made to the track carrier assembly when going from a 12" to a 14" pad? I just picked up a set of used mint berco tracks, sprockets and rollers and was so excited over the find that I didnt measure anything. I just rebuilt my left side steering clutches, get it...

Thanks JT. Believe it or not, I went looking for gasket paper the other day and none of the local parts stores carried it anymore. I guess its a dying art! I used to use pizza boxes but I would like to try to get the correct gasket before resorting to that.

Gaskets

Hi All,

Where would I source gaskets for my early 1010? Does JD actually still stock these items? I need the gaskets for the covers on the top of the finals and i need the gasket for the PTO cover part# T12840T

Thanks

Need steer clutch control arm

Looking for a steer clutch control arm part#T19933T. Looks like the previous owner broke it trying to force a frozen throw out bearing to move! Please email me if you have one @ jgocke01@gmail.com

Thanks,

Thanks JT. Gonna have to check my rad mounts also before I order. I was just going to sandwich a piece of rubber between the tank and mount with a through bolt but would rather do it right. Definitely wasn't paying what deere wanted for those things!

1010 fuel tank isolators

Anyone know the thickness of the fuel tank isolators. Went to remove the fuel tank to clean and flush it and pop out a big dent and realized that nothing was holding the tank to the machine but the fuel lines.

Gearmatic winch removal

Can anyone tell me the most efficient way to remove an 8A gearmatic winch from a 1010. I've got to do my steering clutches and dont want to remove more than I have to but not sure if I can remove the entire winch and adapter plate as an assembly or its best to disassemble.
Thanks,
Jim

If you have access to a good wire feed machine I would go for for some 1/16" M71 flux core wire. Just reverse the polarity on your machine, turn your gas on and go. Might take a few passes to get an eye for the way it flows but once you do you will get much better results in half the time especially...

Exactly what I needed, thank you. Have canister filters on both fuel and oil. Will start looking for spin on parts since it sounds like keeping these things from leaking is quite an issue.

1010 filter numbers

Hey all, great board you've got here. Just bought a really beat 1010 floor shift diesel dozerwith a manual 6 way blade and an 8a gearmatic winch. Wanted one of these machines since I worked on an old cow farmers 1010 about 8 yrs ago when I was a tech at John Deere. Anyway, just started working on my...
