Seems kinda hard to get the info out to everyone....

JDCrawlers...does have its own free "New Dedicated Picture Server".....You must go to the Q&A forum at the bottom of the Board Index and read all the information for access.

and must be logged in to even see the Q&A forum.

I assume the dodge is 1/2 ton and i like the super cab ....am not afraid of going diesel but don't know what size is best for use like i need. I know a 350 gas job fills the bill but do like the 24 mpg.. Hauling gooseneck etc is not major use of truck just as needed. Don't know if f250 has small die...

so i wouldn't know a tier IV from a frog... i assume that must be latest type diesel which includes the 3.0....and i don't know what for mileage that would even do on the road. just thought being smaller than the big jobs in the f250s might be a viable option...i know we can use 1/2 tons to get job ...

thinking newer truck

My old 89 gmc can do what i need it to, but i do not need 2 vehicles. Am considering a newer truck....ford f150 coming out with a 3.0 diesel first of year..seems from the dodge group. quite a lot of $$$... However, is used gas ones available with what needed for hauling gooseneck etc with the old jd...

i have jd440 gas engine with bell housing attached...not sure if same for diesel...could measure bolt pattern etc etc..is out of a loader..eng, tranny and reverser so can easily measure...

i have jd440ic and jd40s wheeled both are 2 cyl siphon circulated radiators.....the 40s rad cap really is rather loose and does NOT overheat..yakes it awhile to get up to normal operating temp and is my snow pusher so mostly out in cold temps.. jd440 rad cap is pretty old and has a lever on top whic...

well fortune smiled on that project.....was able to drill and tap all three handles for set screws.. twas a bit concerned as all three are same size handle..only each has different hole size...which leaves the outer boss thinner on each as move inward to the dash... Lavoy...i could not find the serr...

Yes...maxed out..even put extension on my allen wrench and as can see in pics....are actually 2 tubes and 1 shaft...i had thought about roughing up but don't want to mess up tubing. ok, second thought...wonder if can score a line with tubing cutter, which kinda raises a bit of metal and a place for ...
