Scottyb,
Mine's a 6 way dozer. I'd like to find a winch for this one some day. I really rather save some cash and do this myself but it's always the same ole thing. Time or money. I can only have one or the other, never both at the same time these days. Jeff

Hi: In another life, I had a 350 reverser go bad. I pulled the engine and the reverser on the side of a work road using a tripod and chain fall. It took time and patience, but I was able to do it pretty well and in a day - didn't break anything except some skinned knuckles. I put the reverser in my...

Jeffs, is there still time to get out of it? what about..... " they clamped the adjusters with 3 muffler clamps per side. Two bottom rollers, a starter (shot), rock guard for right side sprocket, tensioner spring cover, steer clutches on both sides, radiator and of course the reverser" ???????? OK,...

Scottyb, Your are definitely correct that this turned into a parts machine, at best. I wish i would have listeened to everyone before taking the plunge but i already started the buy before researching. I would of liked to have backed out but the lady was really counting on the deal to get through to...

Thanks guy's for your input. I have a weird situation, were right in the middle of building our house. I have tools but most everythings in storage. My pole barn's bought but not up yet so I'd have to work out in the elements. I wanted to start by giving this thing a good bath and try changing the r...

350B reverser- decisions, decisions!
Does anybody know how many hours it takes to change a reverser? I found a rebuilt reverser for 2800.00 and was thinking if the hours weren't to bad I'd just pay to have it changed too. Their rate is 55 bucks an hour. Trucking's about a 4 hr. ride one way. Probably not a bad rate but i'm really not s...

Lavoy, It was the one with springs. The dealer said theres 5 springs @ 54 bucks a piece and the isolator s a grand and he rattled of some other parts and pricing but I pretty much went deaf after that. Can I use the other style? To be honest, i wish i would have listened about buying this machine. I...

Motorworx sorry to jump in on your post while waiting for important info. but between your post and scottyb's post, you guy's got me wondering if theres a way to put "C" style wet clutchs in a "B". Wet clutchs are the way to go. As far as your reverser goes i have no idea. I didn't know what a h-l-r...

Well guy's I got it home last night right in the middle of a nice winter storm. I can't imagine what the other people driving thought-idiot- lol. Anyway, it was terrible trying to get it loaded wouldn't load under it's own power so we had to winch it. This morning I checked it out a little more. The...

Thanks ScottyB, I did put cash down. I know it probably wasn't to smart but I never claimed to be. I figure once it's done I'll know what's in it and a little bit more secure when using it. I checked into the isolator. Wow, awsome! That alone make me want to walk away but if i know me, i won't...

Thanks guy's for replying! I just got the "type" 350BE and ser.# 208636T which in the archives says it's a 74?? That stinks!!! I ran it today and it moves just fine but I still think the reversers screwed. Directly below the air cleaner you can hear a slight clanking. It's not a rod or main bearing ...

Thanks for your replies. I forgot to mention that I would be doing the labor myself. I guess it's still debatable whether it's worth it or not. I'm definitely not afraid of the amount of work to get er up and moving again but I am afraid of not being able to get parts. I had a 67 international 500 t...

First I like to say hello to everyone, I'm new here. I've been reading a lot of the topic's on the 350's and found a ton of priceless info. I really didn't want to start off on this board with a bunch of questions but it's not going to happen! I'm looking @ buying this 82 350B. My question is "Is it...
