Hi Lavoy, you're the man. After 10minutes of twisting and tugging, it came loose and slid out. Thanks very much for your time and the quick accurate responses!
Now to get to the seal... :)

Lavoy got back to us, should come right off. Looks like it needs some more persuasion. It's a JD 420C, serial number 95353.

Trying to remove shaft

Hi folks, am trying to remove the right drive shaft and brake rotor to repair the inside oil seal. It and the brake rotor do not want to slide off, they are loose and shakes but doesn't want to come off. Is there a ring or some else that needs to be removed? Lent my book to the neighbour and haven't...
