Thats not a complete S/N Unless something was done to the machine I'm pretty sure I've read the JD450 to be something like 57hp, the 450C around 65hp. Have him take a good high reolution picture of the serial tag and send it to you. if it was painted over that then have him do that fancy trick we we...

There is another guy on ebay I see that will also test your injectors for free if you send them along with the pump, they do the basic rebuild for I think $320. I do see remanufactured pumps that are in the range of $600-800. I was looking for a JDB331MD2797 recently and found a remanufactured one a...

You should be able to get the pump off yourself if you have some mechanical skills. I have not worked on your particular machine model before, but the basic idea is still the same. -set the engine at TDC cylinder 1 -clean the pump area so it is free of grime and dirt -turn off the fuel supply at the...

Sure the pump will run with the ring being gone, but your pump will be trashed eventually. I had no idea about this until it happened to my pump, found pieces of metal inside that were roughly half the size of a dime. If you doubt any of this then there are two things you could do: 1) pop off the ti...

Your pump is probably a JDB435AL2442 if the part number is AR51747. I agree with jtrichard, it is probably time for a rebuild. A guy around here once said that those flex rings wear out in about 10 years and if they are not replaced you can ruin the pump. Best to get it done before that happens, if ...

If you look a little closer at the pump you will see that it says JDB435AL2442 (I know they can get dirty and the marking can wear down). So you have a D series JDB pump The John Deere Part number is AR51747 Can you get pictures and post them of the leaking area? These pumps have a plastic type gove...

Figuring it was out of fuel, no, not the problem. Checked the fuel filters, changed both as they needed it. Bled the system after changing the filters, still no go. The outlet valve at the tank, no problem, blew the lines out with air, have flow all the way to the pump, Roosa-master pump. The elect...

350B Injection Pump issues

Last week the injection pump on my 350B bit the big one. The rotor seized and the drive shaft broke. The pump is a Roosa Master JDB331MD2797. John Deere part number is AR-49899. I've only found 1 for sale and it was rebuilt by D&W Diesel, they quote $1280 without a core. There is a pump by the model...
