Hi I have a 430 engine that knocks intermittently. It start and runs fine otherwise. Good oil pressure. My question can a governor weight be hitting the block? Noise usally show up at high rpm and it does not matter if the engine is loaded. Knock comes and goes. Any rhoughts before I tear it down?? ...

found it in a local salvage yard and was interested in buying it. Sprockets look good and it has snow/ ice tracks. steering clutches won't move and engine probally stuck how can I tell if the track in good? what else should I look for?
