GR, when you say it "won't start" does that mean you have the starter cranking and spinning the engine but it won't run -or- the starter won't crank? I noticed in your first post that you didn't mention the neutral safety switch on the side of the transmission, have you checked that?

hello, it's hard to tell from the picture but you should have a wire hooked up to the small terminal on the solenoid, which is hot during starting only. to test if the loose wire is what needs to be hooked up-connect a test light to it and press the start button, if its hot only when you press the s...

thanks for the quick reply, i'm going to go lube the chassis and pivots this weekend, i'll look over the linkage. Can you desribe how to get in float position? thanks for any help.

sorry guy's a location would help. i'm in Colorado and willing to travel about 1000 miles for a nice machine. everything local here is so worn out and overpriced it pays to travel a bit. :P
