My JD450C , 1979 year I'm guessing. When I use the clutch ,it hesitates for about a second then it operates. it wont shift out of 1 low. it grinds when shifting. does anyone have any ideas how to pressure test the return lines from the pump. is there a test kit out there. The sight gauges work well if they are cleaned up. Pull it apart and tidy up the inside and you will have no problem seeing the level. I have found the filter in the hydraulic tank. It was loose about a 1/2 inch. I pulled and cleaned it. I'm trying to find the "in Line " filter. My hydraulics slowl...

Does anyone know the location of the return inline hydraulic filter on a 1976 450c crawler. The information I have indicates near the hyd. fluid tank. Its not there.
