Hurray! the machine has a winch on it ,as a last resort I loosened winch bracket under machine.I can see the PLUG underneath the bracket.
F/D oil capacity and oil specs. ????? Yes I do have books ,BUT cannot find them at present. Thanks again !!!!

Lavoy where is the pinion shaft hole ??? How do you determine when
final drive is FULL of oil with correct amount ??? Thanks!

350bb lift crawler s#1491521: Have finally got by belly counter off to ck my final drive oil .power washed the entire final clean.can only find the drain plug(no others for filling) J/d dealer unable to help.Anyone out there know how else to ck the oil.book says it is directly above the drain.SORRY ...

Need to check final drive oil, BUT ,I have a factory counterweight that the d/b is also attached to.Weight must come off to ck.oil level. D/B & weight all un- bolt easily .The 1 1/4 pin holding the D/B (in front of weight) is frozen. The pin has to install upside down w/snap pin holding it(only 1/2 ...

the machine has both a rear winch plus the large rear counter balance weight underneath. I can access the drain plugs,BUT with the extra JD rear weight
it is not possible to ck.fluid upper plug,much less add any fluid with the
weight there.Is there any other access??? OR remindies
