Hey ben, I will take that into consideration. I heard the deere paint is pretty expensive though I will take a look around and see what I can get. Tried some ether in the other cylinder for haha's and still no luck, just not enough compression to get it fired up . Im thinking of doing all the fuel l...

whiteclipse16 I agree that rings are stuck probably from engine sitting to long, Im hoping that if I get it to run it will bring motor up to temp and possibly free the rings if not then I will end up rebuilding motor with a inframe kit from mcbee, Inframe is a good 350 to 400 bucks but thats not bad...

maybe I didnt use enough starting fluid, I just put two little squirts in the blower hole figuring it would work that way. I am still going to pull the injectors out and clean the crown off, I poured p.b. and seafoam in there and im sure thats not helping mixing with diesel. .

Hey Tigerhaze that was a real good thread on injectors for the 2-53 the guys there confirmed that the S45 is ok to use just uses a little more fuel consumption but is perfectly safe. I will try getting the cylinder heads cleaned this weekend and try spraying some ether in the injector holes before i...

The Engine is not stuck It is not pitted either I took a look at the cylinders when I dropped the oil pan to look up in while freeing the motor which was fairly easy. The starter would move it 1/4 of an inch at a time when I first got the machine, Guy left it sitting for a few years and had it cover...

Hello Yes I bought the S-45 type injectors and The timing tool and believe I did it correctly not possitive though, Im not sure about the exhaust valve timing because when I went to time them the gap was much larger before and now there's barely any gap with the .011 the gap was probably .027 or lar...

Injectors have fuel coming out of them when cracked, so that tells me fuel pump is working. It may be the exhaust valves like lavoy suggests. I am not certain I have the rocker arm up all the way. I will have to look at the manual again.. see if I notice anything..
