Thanks..really appreciate you taking the time to share your knowledge....

I drained the transmission. steering clutches. and finals..what's confused me was the book showing these being filled all together as one ..and getting other info that the final drive has a seperate fill plug..I'll figure it out Friday when I'm back home ...thanks

Thanks guys..the transmission oil dipstick also measures steering clutch housing and final drive oil...no doubt I over looked the fill plugs on final drive. U drained the transmission and steering clutches n finals ..put the transmission plug in and continued to fill with fluid till I seen evidence ...

Guess I should give little more details.. I recently bought jd350c loader mid 70's To do little clean up on farm for deer hunting..(food plots)etc...I to have operators.. .parts.. and tech manuals for it.started changing fluids n filters (servicing) ran in to this final drive challenge.I'm sure i ov...

In need of info were to fill final drives..
The manual I have shows the transmission. steering clutches.final drives ..getting filled through the check tube...anybody with info it would be greatly appreciated..
