Re: 350C isolator CONVERSION - "C" to "D"

I got this kit from Lavoy.
Put it in my 350c last spring and have put it through some tuff hours last year and this year. I've had zero problems and I'm glad I spent the time and money on the upgrade.

I paid Deer almost $100 to replace the switch on my 350c. Kicked myself in the a** when I finally put it in. It was a very simple 3 way switch. Off/accessory only/starter plus accessory. If your machine is similar you should be able to replace it with any $15 switch that fits the hole.

Yes it is the correct aftermarket replacement. When you remove the pipe plug you'll find the grease fitting used to fill the tensioner.

Gee we're almost next door neighbors. I don't have your background, I'm just an old broken down bricklayer. If I get a chance maybe I'll stop over and pick your brain. Lavoy is helping me with parts so I'm not ready to go yet but hopefully will be set when the weather starts to break.

I'm looking forward to your project as I am hoping to do the same when the weather breaks. I can't wait to see your pics and follow your progress.

Where are you in upstate NY. I'm in Remsen, about 20 miles N of Utica.

Had a similar problem with my 350C. I bought a replacement at Deere for about $90. Kicked myself in the a** after I looked at it. (Assuming similar) 3 terminals, 1 for power in, 1 for accessories, and 1 for starter button. When the key is turned left only the accessories are hot, when it's turned ri...
