420C Parts?
Hey guys! Been awhile since I've been on here. Sold the 1010 quite some time ago and bought a 420C loader a couple days ago. Haven't even got it home yet. Anyhow, I know I'll be needing parts and a couple I know are needed right now are a couple pins for the bucket "arms." The pivot pins. I'll take ...

I kinda doubt that the fingers are missing the right pack may be rusted and swollen and that will push the fingers down to where you may not be able to see them very well or it has a bad throwout bearing and the ends of the fingers could be worn off.... if you push up to something that wont move an...

Well, I checked out the no right steering issue and it appears the right pressure plate is broken. :( So, it looks like I need to break the track, remove the sprocket and final drive--is that correct? Or is there some other magic way to repair it? If it is turning to the LEFT but NOT the righ...

Just a little update. Fired the 1010 up and ran it down to a corner of my property where it transitions from yard to woods to push some brush. Still only left side steering. Made a couple very short (probably 20-30- feet) passes and then she died. Checked diesel flow from tank to filters and there w...

Crawler Crawls
Went out about 7:30 this morning to see if she'd fire up and I'll be danged if she didn't! Started easy too--I was impressed and pretty happy. It was only hitting on 3 cylinders for a bit but finally started banging away on all 4. Decided to see if it would move so, clicked 'er into forward, let the...

Thanks Lavoy and Bill. 8) Yeah, going after the oil change next as well as flushing the oil bath air filter assembly. I'm going to install two batteries (since there's already two boxes there) as well, and build new battery cables. I guess I'll need to replace the old generator with an alternator? I...

It runs!! :D http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o260/wheelinthesky/DSC02508_zpsee05467c.jpg I installed new glow plugs and bled the fuel system properly. It took lots of tries but she finally sputtered to life. I let it run for 20-30 minutes raising and lowering the RPM and by the time I shut 'er do...
