Yes, mine is the 6410 (I think) it has the all manual adjustments. Yea, I would be tickled with just the tilt feature to be hydro adjust, since I have 1 extra spool, and I hate to spend another $2500 on it.....LOL. I will see if I can find a parts number book somewhere to check. If someone has a few...

450c 6 way blade conversion??

I have a 450c with the blade frame on the outside of the tracks. It has a manual blade. My question is has anyone took this frame and made it a hydrallic adjust 6 way blade? If so what did you modify? My dozer has a unused aux valve on it.
Thanks

Paint question

While I have got my 450c tore down (track install) I am going to put a fresh coat of paint. My question is they have 2 Deere construction yellows. Old and new. My 450c is a 1979 model. What is the correct color? I have seen lots of different yellows today, I don't really like the ones with a lot of ...

I have been shopping around the past 2 days, and the best quote I have is $4457 to my door for 2 sprockets, 2 front idlers, 2 track chains with 16" pads, and top rollers with seals. That was from North American track. I think I am going to order the parts from them Monday morning, (before my account...

That's about what my mechanic told me. I picked the machine up fairly cheap ($4000), and it runs good, trans hydraulics all good. Repacking cylinders now. The undercarriage was why I picked it up for that price. Is there any aftermarket places that you guys buy from? Local deere dealer wants around ...

New tracks/pads for 450C

I am new to the crawler world, and have recently purchased a 450C. (Will post some photos tomorrow) I am in the process of fixing a few smaller problems now. I am going to have to redo the under carriage before long though. I wanted to get the chains with new pads, and rails. Where is the best place...

Hi Guys Sorry it took so long to get back, been busy at work. I got the serial number. 450CD 317211T. What can you guys tell from that? I have ran the dozer a little. Runs great, and trans works great. The only things I see is that the Blade cylinders needs to be repacked (leaks down), and the bushi...

Advice on 450C purchase

I have found a 450C JD dozer. Runs good trans works good. Dozer looks pretty good. Had my mechanic check it out, he said the tracks were wore (around approx. 30% left). I have a farm, and I am going to use it to spread a little dirt, and maybe push a few paths. (not going to make a living with it). ...
