I have the tracks from my straight 350 that I put new tracks on. the PO had new bushings put in but not new pins so the tracks are still a little loose. I am adjusting a new clutch and plate. when I get it adjusted with the tool the gap isn't big enough to get the clips back in. I ended up just grinding a little off the clips and pounding them in.

ok I removed these clips to adjust the clutch and now they cant go back on because there isn't enough space between the bolt head and lock nut. what am I doing wrong.
