Just notice today that my tracks are getting loose
How do I adjust them ?
Any pics or video out there that I can go see

Just took my 420 crawler out for the first time this year and steering works but if I'm pushing dirt I have no power on the left track. Work fine when I stored it. Anybody have suggestions

Thanks everyone, the problem was the timing
I quess the two bolt got loose and the distributor moved
Just got some minor adjustement to do on the carb and
we are back in business

Yes I have 3 adjustment
Idle speed, idle mixture and the main or load mixture
I will try again tomorrow to adjust, when I install the rebuilt carb today I did not adjust the idle speed screw at all. That's why I was having problems

Does anybody have a diagram or specs on how to adjust tsx530

I check and clean distributor
I don't think is the clutch because as soon as I push dirt the engine wants to stall

I just saw 2 adjustment screws. I will check again tomorrow
I check compression on both cylinder, one was at 140 and the other one at 135 psi.

Tried cleaning the main jet but everything was strip so I ordered a rebuilt carb from McDonald carb & ignition model tsx530. Just install it but did not fix my problem, still no power when pushing dirt. Starts well, good respond with the throttle but just no power. Anybody got suggestions

Hi, I have 1958 john deere 420c and I'm having a problem that I can not figure out. It starts good, moves but when I'm pushing dirt it has no power, even on 1st gear. I check all fuel lines, tank and filters so gas is not a problem
Anybody out there with ideas
