Still working on the track adjuster got it out 2 or so inches. But now the grease just comes out around the pipe so going to try to find a press and work on it some more. Hi I have a John Deere 350 dozer . The track adjuster is stuck have it off and have put wd40 in it for two days and then put in a small press and it did move some. Is it ok to put heat on this or just have buy a new one? Has anyone ever had one apart and what's inside? I don't have a torch but could...

What is the oil you use in final drive of a 350 dozer? The book said john deere 303 special purpose oil but what is this? Thanks for the help. Larry

Just a comment, adding a disk to take up space for worn disks, is not the answer for slipping steering clutches due to wear. From experience, i won't go to all the work to pull a final without replacing disk with new ones. Nope going to get all new getting old and lazy don't want to do it twice. La...

You are not going to like my answer, but if in doubt, throw them in the garbage and put in new ones, then you know for sure. I don't like pulling finals, so if I have one off, it gets discs and pressure plate. I had a customer that pulled a final drive 4 times because he thought the old discs were ...
