Re: Raise bucket on non running jd 350
one click is a bad connection. clean battery terminals . clean ground cable and make sure you have a good ground. clean positive at starter also. more than likely it will be terminals at battery or battery cables at battery. could have an internal battery issue

Re: 450c hlr adjustments
Homeless are gone. Adjustments are done. test drive performed. Trees fell over, dirt was pushed and piled up for road base. High range goes away after warming up so there will come a time for high range rebuild. Has good strong low and reverse so that is the way it is for now. Thank you for all the ...

Re: 450c hlr adjustments
And now for the Paul Harvey version. The rest of the story. I found some homeless found a red rag and moved their bed roll into the bell housing. Rats now I have to clean out the bell housing. You finally think your on a roll and you get another kick. :D But as they say Keep Smiling, it makes...

Re: 450c hlr adjustments
Did anyone hear that big popping noise when I pulled my head out? Started off with making sure the shift linkage was correct, corrected the pivot joint slacks to make sure neutral dent was correct < high range detent was correct so I could check pressures. NOW have all ranges even though High range ...

Re: 450c hlr adjustments
does anyone offer a complete rebuild kit for the HLR. I have a feeling that I'm going into it sooner than later so I better start getting my ducks in a row. I have some very worn linkage and maybe some sticking linkage on clutch pedal to address first. it was working good and sat for three weeks and...

450c hlr adjustments
having a heck of a time to get clutch adjustments. seems every thing I do makes it worse. watched a video on adjusting 450b and they said to back off the hlr linkage stop nut 5 turns then adjust the pressure with trans in neutral and hlr in high to get the pressure up and get it to drop 5-10 psi. I ...

Re: Looking for large drum plug for top of trans.
Okay guys. I have to confess the large drum plug I have been searching for was Found . You know how it is when you put something somewhere so you don't forget? Well I had put it in the right side box in the tray with all my extra bolts and nuts where I fill the hydraulic oil. I feel so stupid.

Re: Looking for large drum plug for top of trans.
Yes I did check with the yellow guys. I have run into that in the past. I'll try the 1 1/2 plug. Having a pump that is threaded for 2 different sizes is what got me to thinking. Did not realize there was 2 sizes.

Re: Looking for large drum plug for top of trans.
apparently there is two different size large drum plus. I have a pump to go into 55 gallon drums and it has two different size threads for two large drum plugs. Sure enough it is the smaller of the two. Soooo I am on the look out for the right size drum plug. I have a 20 gallon drum and it is the sa...

Looking for large drum plug for top of trans.
Looking for the large drum plug to cover the trans pressure port. I misplaced the one I took out when checking pressure and leaving gauge for a month and half. It is a smaller size than a regular drum plug. there is no part # in the parts catalog. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 450 C 1975 losing drive power when climbing
I had the same issue with my 450c . I had no high range and would loose trans pressure going up hill. I have owned the unit about 8 years and have been using low range only. i asked on the forum and got not replies. I had read the way to check fluid was engine running. I WAS WRONG. turn engine off a...
