Well... got the handle off only to find no filter assembly??? Hi Paul, I have a very small amount of rotational, dusted off the Starrett's -it is .002, but it's the right to left, side to side motion about 1/8" is what concerns me. Hi Scottyb, I was able to remove drain plug & drain but saw oil was milky and thick with a little gunk in it. So I dropped the oil pan to clean it thinking gunk may have settled in bottom. My gear looks great, but I can wobble it back & forth about 1/8". How much play does yours have? Do you know ho...

jtrichard, thank you for the manual's link. Manual shows removing final drive from tractor and using a puller to remove final drive gear. I have already pulled the Pinion shaft & bearings, they look great. The final drive gear (still in housing on the crawler) has about 1/8" play back & forth. also ...
