Lavoy, that price isn't weak enough. I'm going to piddle around more with mine for now and see if I can get these bores cleaned up enough to get the pistons out and see exactly how much pitting if any I have. They look very rusty but cant tell of pitting till I penetrate this rust and get it removed.

North Dakota? Would love to get back out that way again. Does a weak motor command a weak price? haha. Seems like I should be able to find something a little closer to home.

Thank you Whiteclipse16, that sounds like the motor I need, although I don't need another seized motor, got one. Go ahead and talk to your dad about it and find out more details. If it looks like something that may run again without a lot of work and $, I would be interested. I do have another line ...

The one Im looking at looks very similar, and from the many pictures the owner sent me, looks like it may bolt in. ...

Well that's what I was hoping to hear! I'm paying on the high side for this motor and have to drive a ways to get it. Don't want to get it home and find out the rear crank output is wrong or there will be no bolt mount for hydraulic pump frame and front of crank wont engage pto assembly to the hyd. ...

No Its an over head valve engine. Looks just like crawler engine except for the access cover. The valve covers are even the same as the crawlers. Model # on combine motor is# HB 145G and serial # 25590, the combine motor doesn't appear to have the sleeve deck like dozer does though.

1010 Track Loader gas/ #45 combine gas engine

First, thank you Lavoy for activating my account and allowing me on here. I've visited you sight often since I bought my 1010 track loader last summer and find it very informative. My 1010 gas has a seized motor which since I've tore down found out sleeves are severely rusted and pitted, I cannot re...
