420C track pad bolts
After about 3 years I am finally reassembling the tracks for my 420 in which lavoy previously installed new pins and bushings. I need to order hardware for my 2 bolt pads. I just realized the parts manual does not give sizing information and the crawler is about 3.5 hours away so I cant easily run o...

Re: 420C front idler size difference
I believe the 19" were standard and the 21" (oversize) were an option. The larger idlers use one additional pad in the belt.

Grease in Rockshaft
My rockshaft seals leak and won't hold oil. Can I put a grease zerk in the fill or drain hole and use grease like I do on the rollers?

420C Rock shaft
I am finally starting to reassemble my 420C focusing initially on the undercarriage and getting the Deluxe Seat installed. The first step is to get the rock shaft assembly installed before mounting the seat. I have a number of questions regarding the rock shaft and would appreciate the members insig...

Re: Oh crap!
When i first got my 420 I recall finding it was missing the large plate washer that goes under the filter. Check to see if it got removed when you changed the filter- could be as simple as that.

I believe the street pad part number you are looking for is M2747T. It is used on both the 40C & 420C

Re: Idler wheel axle
I am finally back to rebuilding my Idler wheels as well. Bushings seem Ok. I have one NOS shaft that is a nice fit. I have 3 used (salvaged) shafts that all seem a bit loose. Is there a standard for acceptable wobble? I have 4 new seals (from Lavoy a couple years ago). Not sure yet about reusing (wo...

Re: 430C 3 Point+blade
Gus-where did you find a 1000psi relief valve plus a 3 position for float? Part of my thought to use the original with a selector valve is to get the float as well as blocked neutral position

Re: 430C 3 Point+blade
has anyone installed a diverter valves to use the single valve with the blade and 3 point? I am planning my 3 point install and would like to keep the original valve and add a diverter. ( i know I need a "special" bracket to mount the valve lever to the rockshaft base.) Blade quit working when I sta...
