Re: parts

yeS agreed Lavoy ill take the seal kit Hi Ralph. the splines weren't the issue, they looked great. it is the seal in the front, pump looked ok from the outside. but I put it on and ran it, its leaking. I'am not sure how you could tell if that seal is bad unless you have a test bench. are the interna...

Re: 440 diesel

I have a hub for the 7/8 13 t I believe. took it off loader, but needs new rubber bushings. I don't like it, rubber came apart, ran off center, then took out the old pump splined shaft. I think this hub was one designed for a wheel tractor, or maybe the old salami pump just took to much horse power ...

Re: 440 diesel

Ya, wow.
Can you recommend a pump you have used, I was thinking steal housings, 1-6 spline.
Do you have one that's good you'd be willing to part with ?
Thanks much

Re: 440 diesel

I'm OK with the smaller pump, slow hydraulics will not be a bad thing as long as the pressure is good, also would like the correct splines. Do you have anything to suit that? I have an alignment issue and would like to go back to something that fits properly, needs to fit it in the grill like origin...

Any recommendations on replacement, or a new used hydreco ? I have the 51 how as well. Suggestion's? Time to fi...

parts needed, mounting plate, and more

1959 440icd I ripped off the front mounting plate for my hydraulic pump. I broke the casting that mounts onto the front of the Detroit 2 cyl. Lavoy, do you have one of these? it appears to just mount to the front of the motor. The front hydraulic mounting plate has a few bolts that go into it this p...
