Do these things not have the issue of syn slipping past seals like older cars do?

I grabbed a rock bar and couldnt get any movement from the sprockets. Its off to the inboard side on both idler and sprocket. I think its just that the rollers are all in terrible shape.

Weve always used atf to break a rotating assembly free. Poor it on and let it set over night and it usually works its self through.
